Becky has been our director of youth and Christian Education since May of 2000. She grew up in Northwest Indiana (Merrillville) and attended college at the University of Evansville, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Religion. In May of 2006, she received a diploma in Pastoral Studies from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary after completing a two year course offered by the Presbytery. In May of 2015, she was commissioned as a Commissioned Ruling Elder to the Presbyterian Church of Henderson. Currently she is completing her Masters of Divinity degree at University of Dubuque Theological Seminary.
In August of 2002, Becky married Jason Durham. They are raising Jonas who is now seventeen years old.
Becky oversees the ministry to youth and children from the time they are born until they graduate from high school. She loves working with kids and seeing them grow in their faith. She also works to be a resource for families, helping parents and kids learn and grow together at church and at home. She also serves the Chaplain’s office at Methodist Hospital as a chaplain on call.
Becky loves reading, writing, music and volunteering with Girl Scout Troop 1884 and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Henderson County. She is a Toastmaster with Riverbend Toastmasters and loves hearing your stories over a cup of coffee.
