Backpack Program

Our church members fill five backpacks full of food each week and send them home with five children at South Heights Elementary School.  Hunger and lack of food sources are an issue for many children in our community.  This program, coordinated by Family Resource Coordinators in the Henderson County School System, addresses these issues.

It costs $20 per  month to be a backpack donor.

Phyllis Blasser is a church member who takes care of delivering the packs each week!
